I'm back, I think

For anyone still dropping by and wondering what happened to me, I sold my house! It was one of the worst experiences of my life. This is the first time I sold to an individual, not the airport authority. Seemed like everything went wrong; minor issues with the building inspections, I had new carpet installed which helped with the inside, cosmetic things. The worst thing was the house had a broken lateral sewer line which as of today still isn't repaired. Thank goodness for the city of Ofallon. They have a insurance program that pays for the repairs and they are covering this repair. I've been out since May 28. I moved in with one of my kids until a senior apartment becomes available. I had about a week to get everything out, the buyer wasn't sure they wanted to go thru with the sale without assurance that the sewer would be fixed. The new homeowner has moved in and everything has settled down to a dull roar. So if you are still visiting thank you for your patience!

Sounds nightmarish! Glad it's over and you're back. Thought maybe you'd run off to Ireland!

Oh Molly how I wish that is what happened! One of the reasons I sold my house was to get the funds to live in Ireland for awhile. That is still on my bucket list and thanks for welcoming me back.
