The company that I work for had a booth at a home show in April. It was fun to work and meet all the people who attended. We gave away pine trees and had a drawing for free lawn care.
Mr. Cardinal waiting his turn at the neighbors feeder. I've got a few months to catch up on, slowly but surely I will be back on track. This snow storm was at the end of March and I think we got about 12 inches, enough for me not to go to work. I spied Mr and Mrs while I was washing dishes and grabbed my camera.
For anyone still dropping by and wondering what happened to me, I sold my house! It was one of the worst experiences of my life. This is the first time I sold to an individual, not the airport authority. Seemed like everything went wrong; minor issues with the building inspections, I had new carpet installed which helped with the inside, cosmetic things. The worst thing was the house had a broken lateral sewer line which as of today still isn't repaired. Thank goodness for the city of Ofallon. They have a insurance program that pays for the repairs and they are covering this repair. I've been out since May 28. I moved in with one of my kids until a senior apartment becomes available. I had about a week to get everything out, the buyer wasn't sure they wanted to go thru with the sale without assurance that the sewer would be fixed. The new homeowner has moved in and everything has settled down to a dull roar. So if you are still visiting thank you for your patience!
