Off for a new school year! First grade

night school, studying "Psychology of Ageing" since I have practical experience. Our community college offers free classes for credit or audit to folks over 65, so I decided to take advantage of it.

 Britt off to her first year of college, first time away from home, first time living in a dorm. Her school is about 3 hours away from home. She is studying to be a CPA

 I attended a friends wedding in August. She had a photo booth that was a lot of fun! Top photo is myself and Ivan. We worked together for years. Below is myself, my bff Collette and Ivan again, all acting goofy

Off to school

 B is off to a new college this year. He transferred because this school has a better communication program and that is what he wants to major in. Another big change is he has his own apartment off campus that he shares with a room mate.

and to carry on our family tradition, his room mate took a photo of B standing in front of his apartment on the first day of school. The kids hate when I do this but I know they will appreciate it when they are older.

today travels with grandma included swim lessons. D doesn't like to let go of the pool noodle, she is still gaining her confidence in the water.

 



we did a new craft, taking shaving cream, dribbling paint on the surface

 





mixing the paint and shaving cream and then

 



laying paper on the mixture and getting these great designs.

 



 

 



 

the second craft used rubbing alcohol and sharpie highlighters. We placed our t shirts over a plastic cup, fastened with a rubber band and drew shapes with the sharpie.

We think they turned out pretty good
