Again this year we visited the village of Petit Lyon with the young princess.

books of may

 May was a very good month for reading. I now have a mp3 player that I can download books on so I can listen while I walk. I listen to audio books on the drive to work, and of course I have my wonderful Nook.

Lions Soccer

 My daughter and her family have a young man from Scotland staying with them this summer while he is in the area playing soccer for Tony Glavin's premier development league, made up mainly college students. Jonny is above playing a lawn game, I don't know the name of it

 On the soccer field Saturday where the temps were in the high 90's (35C)

at a pool party Sunday, again where the temps were in the 90's. I haven't met him yet, but I am looking forward to it, since Scotland is my second most favorite place in the world; we all know what is the FIRST.

 The tall one is playing soccer for CMU this fall, the little one will also be playing on a church league this fall

Road Side Market

 New farmers market has opened close to my home. Paid a visit over the weekend

 It's in a converted barn with room galore for vendors

the produce looked wonderful. Next weekend is the grand opening, so I will return. Looking forward to purchasing some hand made soap, lavender I think.
