ok, something to read ok, something to read

so very British, I don't believe I've read anything by Bradford before and this story went

on forever. I will give her another chance, but I don't think I could read all of her books

very good, suggested by Molly

quick read, predictable

another quick read, told in the 3rd person, it was good.

this one was a free friday nook book on barnes and noble. it was ok, some suspense.

really interesting, but didn't really have an ending

 very moving

So Proud

My oldest son Dave, one of the 700 or so bikers that rode interference

at a young soldiers' funeral today. That crazy church that protest

at soldiers funeral made an appearance at a fallen warrior's funeral.

God bless the family of the fallen warrior and all the bikers

that kept the crazy church at bay

The wetlands days at Busch conservation area

D and I went to "the wetland days for kids" at the Busch Conservation Area

One of the activities was to discover what lives in ponds. First you

scoop up muck from the bottom of the pond.

empty it on a plastic sheet

then you look to see what creatures you might find

I found something!!!

then take it over to a conservation agent to identify it

he couldn't resist

feeding the fish and turtles in the pond

reading his shark book on the drive home

When I was standing before these gates I couldn't help but feel the presence of the

all passengers who went through these gates with high hopes of starting a new

life in American. The excitement, the sorrow of leaving family and friends, wondering

what the days ahead would hold for them! And not one knowing the horror that

awaited them.
