been a couple of years since i viewed the Quiet Man. One of the films i viewed before my first trip to Ireland.

my viewing the past few days, getting in the spirit! I get homesick for Ireland this time of year. I so much would love to live there for awhile! That is at the top of my bucket list

we ha nice weather for the parade, somewhat warm, sunny and windy.

I walked a mile to get a spot got there 1 1/2 hours before the start and right before the parade, 2 giants (very tall people, i'm only five feet 2 inches,) planted themselves right in front of me. I understood, they had a little one that wanted to see the parade, but they wouldn't stand still, I finally crossed the street and had a much better view
